WHAT SAFARI IS
Desert Safari is thrilling and unforgettable adventure that takes you deep into the heart of the Arabian Desert. It offers a unique chance to experience the mesmerizing beauty of the desert landscape, where golden sand dunes stretch as far as the eye can see, and the horizon is painted with stunning sunsets...
During the safari, you’ll embark on an exciting journey across the dunes, typically in a 4x4 vehicle driven by an experienced safari guide. The drive is full of adrenaline-pumping moments as you navigate the soft sands of the desert, often referred to as "dune bashing." It’s a rollercoaster-like experience that will leave you feeling exhilarated!..
The safari typically takes place during the late afternoon or evening, allowing guests to experience the desert at both sunrise and sunset. During the day, the desert heat can be intense, but the cooler evenings bring a magical atmosphere to the surroundings. You may also have the opportunity to stargaze and enjoy the peaceful silence of the desert at night...
Whether you’re looking for an adrenaline rush or a relaxing desert experience, we can offer something special for everyone...
It’s a must-do activity for anyone visiting the UAE, and it promises memories that will last a lifetime...
We understand that you may have many questions about how to prepare for your exciting desert safari trip, including what to wear, what to bring, and other details. We’ve put together some helpful information to ensure you feel comfortable and fully prepared for this unforgettable experience...
ABOUT CLOTHING
Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you, keeping in mind that you will be in very fine sand. We recommend wearing clothing that you won’t mind getting a little dirty. There's no need to bring expensive clothes, bags, or accessories, as this is not a fashion show, party, or event. It’s an outdoor adventure, and the driver is not responsible for the safety or cleanliness of such items. Keep your clothing simple, comfortable, and practical.
ABOUT HEADGEAR
A head covering is essential to protect you from the sun. You can wear a cap, hat, or scarf. Alternatively, you can purchase a "keffiyeh" on-site or order one in advance to enhance your experience
Comfort is key when choosing your footwear. Flip-flops or sandals work well, as they prevent sand from getting into your shoes. However, the best way to walk on the dunes is barefoot—it's a truly unique and exciting experience for your feet, so we encourage you to give it a try!
ABOUT FOOTWEAR
CONTACT LENSES
If you wear contact lenses, it’s advisable to remove them before the trip. You may reapply them only after you have thoroughly washed your face at home. Alternatively, you can bring your lens cleaning solution with you for comfort throughout the day
We highly recommend wearing sunglasses, as sand can sometimes blow into your eyes, especially during the safari
SUNGLASSES
FOR BUGGY OR ATV RIDERS
If you plan to ride a buggy or ATV, please wear comfortable clothing suitable for driving. It is essential to bring a scarf or "keffiyeh" and sunglasses for added protection
Please note that any creams or lotions you apply will attract sand, which creates a "scrub" effect—although this may not be the most pleasant sensation. We advise not to wash your face or hands on the dunes, as this will only cause more sand to stick. At our rest stops, we have special air blowers to help you remove sand from your face, body, clothes, and shoes
FACE AND HANDS
WATER
The driver will provide you with water to keep you hydrated throughout the safari
If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend consulting with your doctor and preparing any necessary medication in advance to ensure your comfort during the trip
MOTION SICKNESS
We hope this information helps you prepare for your safari experience. We look forward to welcoming you soon and ensuring that you have a memorable and enjoyable adventure!
You don’t need to bring anything else with you, just the items that are personally necessary for your comfort and safety
